Job summary

INTECH Automation Intelligence in Lahore, Pakistan is seeking a Solution & Proposal Engineer to design, optimize, and propose control system solutions for RFQs and technical requirements. You’ll lead presales activities, review client specifications, and prepare comprehensive technical and commercial proposals for projects in Oil & Gas, Utilities, and Energy.

You will develop and recommend control architectures, coordinate with vendors and subcontractors, and maintain master proposal templates

Qualifications

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics) with 3–5 years of experience.
Understanding of Control systems and applications.
Practical knowledge in developing control system solutions and architectures.
Experience in creating BOM and designs for major PLC and DCS platforms and HMI/SCADA software.
Good understanding of control system hardware design (Panel design/wiring drawings).
Understanding of Oil and gas standards and their implementation (NFPA, FM, UL, CE, API, IEC).
Knowledge of control system networks and protocols (MODBUS, DEVICENET, ETHERNET/IP, Profibus/Profinet).
MS Office expertise (Excel/Word/Visio).
Understanding of safety instrumented systems and SIL levels.

Responsibilities

Lead daily proposal and presales activities with timely submissions.
Review RFQs and tender documents to assess technical and commercial requirements.
Develop technical solutions aligned with client needs and project specs.
Prepare technical and commercial proposals that meet requirements and timelines.
Develop optimal control system architectures and obtain approvals.
Create and maintain proposal documentation, cost estimates, and templates.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to obtain quotations and negotiate terms.
Provide technical support during prequalification activities and customer registrations.
Conduct site visits to understand project scope and perform assessments.
