Job summary

Private Power & Infrastructure Board (PPIB) invites applications for Sub Engineer - Civil (PPS-4) on a contract basis. Two vacancies exist under PMU-Solar, located in Pakistan. Age limit 30 years, with specific BE/BSc or DAE qualifications and relevant field experience.

Selected candidates will perform routine site inspections, measurements, quality records, and support for civil works including foundations, mounting structures, and safety compliance. Last date to apply: 15 Nov 2026.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: BE/BSc/B.S in Civil Engineering (HEC-recognized, PEC-accredited).
• Alternative: Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) in Civil Technology.
• Experience: 2+ years post-degree for degree holders; 3+ years post-diploma for DAE.
• Ability to read basic drawings and maintain measurements and quality/site records.
• Desirable: reinforced-concrete works, surveying, solar foundations, rooftop installations.
• Age limit up to 30 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine civil site inspections, measurement support and quality/progress recordkeeping for works under PMU-Solar.
• Check day-to-day site work including excavation, levelling, reinforcement, formwork, concrete and solar mounting/equipment foundation installations.
• Maintain inspection diaries and records of materials, manpower, field measurements and relevant test/quality documentation.
• Assist engineers in checking layout, quantities, workmanship and closure of notified defects against approved drawings.
• Observe and report occupational-safety and environmental concerns including excavation, working at height, drainage and erosion.
• Provide field support for rooftop and ground-mounted PV civil activities and compilation of completion records.
