Qualifications

• Qualification: Role purpose Assist the Resident Engineer (Civil) with site inspection, quality documentation and verification of solar-related civil and rooftop structural activities. Key responsibilities Inspect excavation, foundations, reinforcement, formwork, concrete, solar mounting supports, equipment pads, drainage and other approved solar EPC civil works. Check compliance with approved drawings, contractor quality plans, material test reports and inspection/testing records and record defects and corrective actions. Assist in reviewing rooftop structural assessment documentation, mounting details and observed building conditions, referring technical concerns for competent engineering review. Witness or check field-quality tests and surveys, verify measurements and keep photographic and quantity evidence for supervisory review. Monitor safety and environmental controls within solar sites, particularly excavations, work at height, erosion and drainage risks. Prepare site progress and issue reports and support civil completion and handover documentation. Minimum eligibility Qualification: Four-year B.E./B.Sc./B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from an HEC-recognized university under a PEC-accredited engineering programme. Experience: At least 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in civil construction or infrastructure works, including at least 2 years in construction supervision, field quality control, foundations, structural work or site inspection. Must be able to check approved civil/structural drawings, inspection checklists, survey records, laboratory results and work measurements. Preferred Experience: Experience in PV support structures, rooftop civil works, BESS foundations, site drainage or high-altitude construction is desirable. Age: 30 years.
