Job summary

Private Power & Infrastructure Board (PPIB) invites applications for the post of Assistant Resident Engineer – Civil (PPS-7). The role focuses on site inspection, quality documentation and verification of solar-related civil and rooftop structures.

Candidates should have a four-year Civil Engineering degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, including 2 years in supervision. Primary duties include checking drawings and material tests, coordinating safety measures, and preparing site progress

Qualifications

• Four-year B.E./B.Sc./B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from an HEC-recognized university under PEC-accredited programme.
• At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in civil construction or infrastructure works, including at least 2 years in supervision, quality control, foundations or site inspection.

Responsibilities

• Inspect excavation, foundations, reinforcement, formwork and concrete.
• Review rooftop structural assessment docs and mounting details.
• Witness field-quality tests and surveys; record defects and corrective actions.
• Monitor safety and environmental controls at solar sites; manage progress reports and handover docs.
