Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the project management methodology including document templates, identifying project phases, reporting and planning information for successful project delivery.
  • Provide effective reporting, tracking and communication of project status and metrics.
  • Provide support in creation and improvement of processes, procedures, and tools.
  • Provide assistance in projects across the organization, delivering within the agreed scope and timescale.
  • Maintain processes to ensure project management documentation, reports and plans are relevant, accurate and complete.
  • Track and report on project portfolio performance, providing a real-time, comprehensive, and prioritized view of all projects.
  • Provide support, advice and assistance to people and/or departments across the organization managing their own projects.
  • Delivery of projects aims and objectives as outlines in the relevant specifications for assigned projects.
  • Implementing and maintaining a document storage system that will contain all documentation for all projects and which can be readily and easily accessed by project teams and management.
  • Develop positive relationships with managers and staff to enable the PMO to provide support including facilitation, tracking and reporting on projects, and training.
  • Develop and maintain a basic understanding of customer policies and procedures as relevant to processes.
  • Comply with the data protection regulations, ensuring that information on clients remains confidential.
  • Administrate and organize own work to ensure that it is accurate and meets quality targets, reasonable deadlines and reporting requirements.
  • Undertake any other tasks, duties or projects which may arise from time to time which are commensurate with the general level of this post and as directed by the designated Line Manager.
  • Research and remain up to date on developments in project management technologies.
Job Specification
  • At least 5-7 years of software project management experience with a degree in Project Management / Computer Sciences
  • PMP is a major plus
  • Proven experience in providing service to internal stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
  • Understanding of project delivery and acceptance processes within a fast-paced business environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills with ability to conduct presentations comfortably to large groups.
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of other mainstream software.
  • Experience of financial control and budget management.
