As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the Workforce Technology Team, specifically as a part of the Employee Platforms Team, you will be integral to our agile team, focusing on the enhancement, design, and delivery of software components for cutting-edge technology products. Your role will involve designing, developing, and troubleshooting diverse technical products, applications, or systems. Job responsibilities


  • Maintain business processes, including configuration documents, JIRA practices, and SR tracking.
  • Support and sustain HCM Oracle Benefits Cloud and/or Compensation modules.
  • Utilize Oracle OTBI and HDL/HSDL tools effectively.
  • Communicate clearly and respond promptly to team and stakeholder inquiries.
  • Follow security and release procedures to minimize risk.
  • Ensure data privacy and adhere to regulatory compliance standards.
  • Apply lessons learned to reduce production defects and collaborate with Oracle support on service requests.
  • Review Oracle release notes and perform impact analysis.
  • Deliver design components on time with consistent follow-through and independence.
  • Conduct functional testing to identify and minimize defects.
  • Quickly diagnose issues and determine root causes.
