Job summary

Tech4Life Enterprises is seeking a Software Developer to drive web development, API integrations, and backend support for healthcare software and devices. The role requires 2–3 years of professional web development experience, a CS or software engineering degree, and availability for urgent tasks in a 42-hour weekly schedule.

You will collaborate with internal and external teams, maintain platforms, and contribute to stabilization and commercialization efforts for our core technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop features across subsystems from requirements to deployment.
• Collaborate with team, users, outsourced developers, and clients to improve performance.
• Plan and deliver platforms used across products and units.
• Support in-house and outsourced teams for maintenance and enhancement.
• Document solutions with technical docs, flowcharts, diagrams, and code comments.
• Identify root causes of errors and escalate critical issues to the engineer.
• Maintain records of configuration changes and schedule updates.
• Monitor performance metrics and analyze feedback to implement fixes.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Manager.

General Purpose:

The Software Developer is responsible for software and web development, testing, support, and stabilization of core technologies under a defined plan. The role includes providing technical leadership in software maintenance and supporting the software support team with backend technologies to ensure smooth operations and commercialization activities at Tech4Life Enterprises.

Job Responsibilities & Authorities

• Develop features across multiple subsystems, including participation in requirements gathering, prototyping, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with the software developer team, internal users, outsourced developers, and clients to enhance application performance.
• Plan and deliver software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units.
• Support and facilitate in-house and outsourced software development and support teams for product maintenance and enhancement.
• Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
• Document and demonstrate solutions through technical documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, layouts, code comments, and clear coding practices.
• Identify root causes of application errors and elevate critical issues to the concerned engineer.
• Maintain records of configuration changes and schedule application updates.
• Perform routine maintenance and monitor application performance metrics.
• Analyze customer feedback and testing results to identify issues and implement fixes or elevate to relevant personnel.
• Perform any other task assigned by the Manager.

Technical Skills

• Strong skills in web research.
• Hands-on experience with API integrations and backend development.
• Knowledge of security principles, object-oriented design, and web services (REST/SOAP).
• Familiarity with MySQL and database-driven applications.

Management & Personal Skills:

• Energetic, motivated, and creative mindset, particularly in web design and digital presentation.
• Strong work ethic with a high level of personal accountability.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering.
• Master’s degree will be preferred.

Experience:

• 2 to 3 years of professional experience in web development.

Work Hours:

• 5 days a week (42 hours per week).
• Must be available online in case of urgent tasks.
