Job description

Social media for a tobacco manufacturer has a hard boundary: nothing may speak to consumers or to minors. At Global Shisha Tobacco the Social Media Manager works inside that boundary and builds a trade presence that importers, distributors and wholesalers find useful. The main channel is LinkedIn.

The material comes from the business itself: the company's own photos and short videos of leaf, cut tobacco and packing, and plain explainers on topics buyers ask about, such as how a specification is written or what CIF covers. When a post brings an enquiry, you pass it to the sales desk with the context attached.

Salary: PKR 60,000 - 70,000 per month. Negotiable according to experience and skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and publish a trade-only content calendar, mainly on LinkedIn
• Turn the company's photos, videos and buyer guides into short explainers for importers and distributors
• Apply platform tobacco policies and the company's no-consumer rule to every post
• Reply to business enquiries from social channels and hand them to sales the same day
• Report monthly on reach among trade audiences and enquiries generated

Requirements

• Experience running business social media accounts, with examples
• Good written English and an eye for clean, simple visuals
• Understanding that tobacco content is restricted, and the discipline to stay within the rules
• Basic photo and short-video editing
• On site in E-11, Islamabad, Pakistan, 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM; working days confirmed at interview

Preferred

• B2B or export marketing experience
• Experience in a regulated category such as tobacco, pharma or finance
• Familiarity with LinkedIn company page analytics
