Job summary

ZADS Architecture & Design Studio in Karachi seeks a Site Supervisor for full-time, on-site work. You will oversee contractors, align site activity with drawings, programme, and quality, and report daily to the studio.

Strong communication in English and Urdu is required; Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is preferred; willingness to cover multiple sites and coordinate with architects and office staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a site supervisor on residential or commercial projects.

• Coordinate with architects, PMs, and office on drawings and site decisions.
• Report daily on progress, attendance, timings, delays, quality, and issues that need studio input.
• Hold work to drawings, specifications, programme, and finish quality.
• Full-time, on-site presence in Karachi; willingness to cover more than one site.
• Clear written and verbal communication in English and Urdu.
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent site experience.

Daily reporting, issue tracking, and clear communication between site and studio are central to the role. This is a hands-on position for someone who can run a site with discipline and keep the office informed without being asked twice.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a site supervisor, site engineer, or construction supervisor on residential or commercial projects.
• Ability to manage multiple contractors and trades on a live site, including labour, materials, and daily sequencing.
• Coordinate closely with architects, project managers, and the office on drawings, instructions, and site decisions.
• Report daily on progress, attendance, timings, delays, quality, and issues that need studio input.
• Hold work to drawings, specifications, programme, and the finish quality expected by ZADS.
• Full-time, on-site presence in Karachi; willingness to cover more than one site when required.
• Clear written and verbal communication in English and Urdu.
• Familiarity with local construction practice, materials, and labour management.
• Own transport preferred.
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent site experience.
