We are looking for a skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our civil construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil construction, site safety, welding, fabrication, and fencing. This role involves overseeing construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing on‑site operations to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Management: Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring that projects are executed according to design specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
• Safety Oversight: Implement and enforce safety protocols and practices on‑site, conducting regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks.
• Project Coordination: Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to project schedules.
• Quality Control: Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Conduct inspections and tests as required.
• Welding and Fabrication: Oversee welding and fabrication activities, ensuring that all processes are carried out according to applicable codes and standards.
• Fencing Installation: Supervise the installation of fencing and related structures, ensuring proper alignment and secure placement.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of construction activities, including daily reports, safety inspections, and project progress. Prepare reports for management and stakeholders as needed.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues that arise during the construction process, coordinating with team members to implement effective solutions.
• Site Planning: Assist in the development of site layouts, ensuring efficient use of resources and space. Monitor inventory and materials to support project needs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to communicate progress, challenges, and changes to project plans.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer in civil construction, with hands‑on experience in welding, fabrication, and fencing projects.
• Strong understanding of construction safety standards and regulations, with relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) preferred.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Proficient in using construction management software and tools for documentation and reporting.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
