Job summary

Wärtsilä is seeking a capable shift supervisor to oversee operators, coordinate workloads, and ensure production targets are met. The role requires leadership, safety awareness and strong organizational skills.

You will guide teams, manage resources and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations while driving process improvements. A background in electrical systems and maintenance management is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proactive problem-solving with ability to drive improvements in efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervises shift operations, coordinating, instructing and scheduling work of operators and coordinating tasks and resources to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Leads operational shift teams and provides training, guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and safe work environment.
• Ensures that all team members receive required instructions in safety procedures, proper use of equipment, performance standards, disciplinary processes, and other workplace and company policies, procedures and practices.
• Monitors operational performance and implements improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Oversees and ensures all work is completed in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and company guidelines, processes and policies.
• Manages the availability of tools, parts, and resources required for maintenance and operational tasks.
