NRSP Microfinance Bank Limited is seeking a dedicated Manager or Assistant Manager for its Shariah Audit department. The role leads a small team, plans and executes Shariah audits, and reports findings to management to ensure compliance with AAOIFI standards.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of banking experience, holds a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), and can develop risk-based audit plans, monitor regulatory changes, and strengthen the bank's Shariah audit framework.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree; Master's preferred.
• At least 3 years banking experience.
• Experience in Shariah audit is essential.

Responsabilités

• Plan, execute, and report on Shariah audits to ensure compliance with regulations and policy.
• Assist in developing a risk-based annual audit plan for Shariah.
• Identify risks related to Shariah compliance and recommend controls.
• Monitor Shariah regulations and AAOIFI standards; align operations accordingly.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations.
• Communicate with stakeholders across departments to facilitate audits.
• Maintain and improve the internal audit framework for Shariah auditing.
• Lead, supervise, and mentor a two-person audit team.
• Collaborate with other departments to embed Shariah compliance into operations.
• Perform any additional duties to strengthen Shariah audit activities.
