Job summary

Goldwind is seeking an electronics repair technician in Karachi with 2-5 years of relevant experience. You will assemble, install, repair and troubleshoot electronic components, PCBs, and drive cards, while following schematics and quality procedures.

Strong English communication is required for documentation and service reports. You will work with a range of test equipment, log every service action, and ensure proper inventory handling.

Qualifications

• BS/BE/B.Tech in Electronics Engineering required.
• 2-5 years of relevant repair/maintenance experience.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking) mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, repair, troubleshoot and maintain electronic components and PCB cards.
• Read and analyze schematics to diagnose and resolve faults.
• Log services and report progress to management daily.
• Use test equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, multimeters) to test and verify repairs.
• Ensure adherence to inventory management and proper use of equipment.

Job description

• Assembling, Installing, Repairing, Troubleshooting, and Maintaining Electronic components and all types of PCB cards.
• Extensive knowledge of Surface mount capacitors, resistors, crystals, ICs, and other components required for repair.
• Expert level experience in checking, troubleshooting, repairing, maintenance, and programming of all kinds of VFDs.
• Expert level in repairing all kinds of single phase /3 phase Control Cards, Power Cards, Drive Cards of different electrical systems.
• Expert level in repair of UPS & inverters, VFDs & servo drive, Dc to Dc converter, SMPS supply, buck boost converter,
• Read and analyze schematic diagrams to diagnose and resolve complex circuit faults.
• Independently troubleshoot and repair SMPS, inverters, converters, gate driver, and control boards.
• Diagnoses and troubleshoot malfunctions in electrical and electronic components.
• Must be aware of High voltages AC/DC as per component specification.
• Utilize a wide array of test equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators, and communications monitors.
• Conduct tests and assessments of new systems and repairs to ensure quality.
• Respond quickly to all service requests and efficiently troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronics systems
• Log all services and report progress to management on daily basis.
• Utilize and store all equipment properly as per inventory management system.
• Sets up test equipment and tests all types of electronic products using established test procedures and schematics.

Requirments:

Education: BS/BE/B.Tech in Electronics Engineering.

Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience in repair and maintenance work.

Language: Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) is mandatory.
