Job summary

HyreUp is seeking an SEO and Web Development Specialist to improve organic visibility, drive website traffic, and generate qualified leads. You will blend SEO strategy with responsive landing page design on WordPress, leveraging Elementor or Oxygen, while automating workflows via Zapier or n8n for seamless lead routing.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of hands-on SEO and web development experience, proficiency with SEO tools, and a solid understanding of HTML/CSS.

Qualifications

SEO and Web Dev Specialist

• Work Type: Full-time.

• Schedule: US business hours.

• Location: 100% Remote.

Role Overview

We are looking for an SEO and Web Dev Specialist to improve organic visibility, website traffic, and qualified lead generation. This role blends SEO strategy with functional website design and backend automation. You will independently manage SEO initiatives, build high-performing landing pages using WordPress, Elementor, and/or Oxygen, and streamline backend workflows using automation platforms like Zapier or n8n. The ideal candidate can seamlessly translate SEO strategies into conversion-focused web pages while ensuring reliable lead routing and system integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• SEO Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute SEO strategies focused on organic visibility, traffic, and qualified lead generation. Conduct keyword research, map target keywords, and implement on-page best practices (metadata, headings, URL structure, internal linking).

• Web Development & Design: Write SEO-optimized copy, design page layouts, and develop high-performing landing pages using WordPress, Elementor, and/or Oxygen.

• Automation & Integrations: Build and manage form-to-CRM lead routing workflows, utilizing APIs and webhooks. Actively test and troubleshoot automated workflows and system integrations to ensure flawless execution.

• Technical SEO Audits: Identify and resolve issues related to crawlability, indexation, site structure, and Core Web Vitals to maintain optimal technical SEO health.

• Analytics & Reporting: Use SEMrush, Screaming Frog, AccuRanker, and BrightLocal to monitor rankings, identify opportunities, and track local/organic SEO performance. Drive primary KPIs, including organic traffic growth, non-branded keyword rankings, and organic goal completions.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 2–3 years of hands-on SEO and web development experience, preferably in an agency or in-house environment.

• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with WordPress and page builders (Elementor, Oxygen). Proficiency with SEO tracking and auditing tools (SEMrush, Screaming Frog, AccuRanker, BrightLocal). Demonstrated hands-on automation experience with Zapier, n8n, or similar platforms. Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and website architecture.

• Core Competencies: Strong understanding of search engine ranking factors, technical SEO fundamentals, and mobile optimization. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, recommend actionable improvements, and independently troubleshoot APIs and webhooks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Remote Infrastructure: Must have a dedicated, noise-free home office setup equipped with a reliable, high-speed internet connection and a backup power source.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus)

• Experience with AI tools, chatbots, reporting automation, and scheduling automation.

• Experience with content strategy, copywriting, or blog management.

• Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tools.

• Knowledge of link-building strategies, local SEO best practices, and optimizing websites for multiple markets or languages.
