Job summary
GE Vernova Inc. is seeking a Senior Wind Hub Technician to operate at multiple wind sites within the hub, traveling as needed.
The role emphasizes turbine operational excellence, safety, quality control, and timely warranty repairs, collaborating with Site Lead and Manager to meet contract requirements. The ideal candidate will have substantial wind trouble-sh shooting experience, applicable certifications, and the ability to work under minimal supervision, with readiness to travel up to 100%
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED, and
- Ability to pass Technical Knowledge Assessment, and
- 4+ years of wind trouble-shooting experience, and 1+ year EHS, SQC, Lead role, or
- 5+ years of wind trouble-shooting experience, and
- Basic computer skills
Responsibilities
- Operate on turbine electrical and mechanical systems at site daily.
- Read schematics, drawings, manuals, and procedures.
- Adhere to safety and environmental processes and regulations.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on wind turbines.
- Document all work using service reports and coordinate with remote center.
