Job summary

Seeds Renewables, located in Lahore, Pakistan, is seeking an experienced Senior Water Resources Specialist to provide technical leadership on water and irrigation infrastructure projects. This role involves applying advanced engineering and hydrological expertise to deliver innovative solutions for irrigation systems, stormwater management, and flood mitigation.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Water Resources Engineering, possess at least 15 years of relevant experience, and have strong expertise in hydrology and flood mitigation. Excellent communication skills in English are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in irrigation and water infrastructure projects.
• Strong expertise in hydrology, hydraulics, irrigation system design, river engineering, and flood mitigation.
• Experience with international or multidisciplinary projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and implementation of irrigation and water infrastructure projects.
• Conduct and oversee hydrological evaluations, rainfall - runoff modelling, flood estimation, and reservoir operational simulations.
• Provide technical guidance on river hydraulics, sediment transport, river training works, and flood mitigation measures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure technically sound project delivery.
• Engage with clients, funded agencies, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with standards.
