Job summary

RTC Communications in Pakistan seeks a Voice Engineer to own architecture, lifecycle, delivery, and support of residential and commercial voice technologies. You will manage voice platforms, networks, call routing, and ensure reliable, cost‑effective services and an exceptional customer experience.

You will translate approved orders into configurations, coordinate porting, testing, training, and cutovers while driving service-delivery improvements and mentoring lower-level technicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, networking, telecommunications, or related field.
• 5+ years networking, voice, telecommunications, or related experience.
• Experience designing, provisioning, administering, or supporting residential/commercial voice solutions (VoIP, hosted PBX, SIP/IP trunking, UC, WebRTC).
• Industry certifications preferred; valid driver license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain voice architectures for hosted PBX, SIP trunking, and WebRTC.
• Manage voice networks, signaling interconnections, dial plans, number inventories, endpoints, and call routing.
• Maintain and administer voice platforms, monitoring tools, vendor portals, and ticketing integrations.
• Translate orders into configurations, schedules, testing, training, and cutovers.
• Establish and improve service-delivery processes; provide escalation support to technicians.
• Support installation and troubleshooting of customer-premises voice and LAN/WAN equipment.
• Drive vendor relations and cost-reduction initiatives for better service economics.
• Support planned maintenance and after-hours cutovers; follow change-management policies.
