Purpose of the Job

The Senior Territory Sales Executive is responsible for achieving sales targets within their assigned territory by focusing on brand and SKU-level performance. The role involves managing the distribution setup, maintaining customer relationships, ensuring effective operations, and driving product penetration in the market. Additionally, the executive is tasked with developing and executing field sales plans, implementing trade programs, monitoring market trends, providing market intelligence, and collaborating with the team to adapt to changes and counter competition.

Job Description

  • The position is responsible for the achievement of territory sales targets (Primary & Secondary) by town, by brand and by SKUs
  • Manage distribution setup & maintain effective customers relationships
  • Ensure excellence in distribution operations to drive product penetration within the trade universe in the assigned territory
  • Responsible to develop and implement field sales plans of the assigned territory
  • Communication and Implementation of trade programs in the market
  • Monitoring and analyzing market trends to identify new opportunities to gain market share
  • Provide market intelligence on regular basis to counter competition activities
  • Must be a team player who is able to successfully operate in a team environment and is adaptable to change
  • Preparing and presenting reports to the sales team and leadership

Experience & Qualification

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably within FMCG industry
