Job summary

TechieMinions offers an exciting, fully on-site role in Lahore for a software engineer with strong Ruby on Rails and frontend experience. You will design, build, and ship features end-to-end across the stack, leveraging AI tools like Claude and Codex to prototype and validate code with senior judgment.

You will work across diverse languages (Python, Scala, Snowflake, AWS) and frontend tech (React, Next.js, TypeScript).

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production systems.
• Strong experience with Ruby on Rails and understanding of scalable architecture.
• Solid frontend experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript (Rails views comfortable).
• Willingness to work across multiple languages and technologies (Python, Scala, Snowflake, AWS).
• Hands-on experience with AI development tools such as Claude and Codex, including agentic pipelines.
• A can-do attitude with ownership mindset and ability to work independently.
• Excellent English communication to interact with clients professionally.
• Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork focus.

Responsibilities

• Own the full delivery cycle from requirements to production, validation, and testing.
• Design, build, and ship product features end-to-end across the stack.
• Lead code reviews to improve quality, performance, and maintainability, including AI-assisted review.
• Collaborate across frontend and backend teams; adapt to evolving tech stack.
• Communicate with clients to clarify intent and provide progress updates.
• Take ownership of outcomes and drive features from concept to validated production.
