Job summary

The Vertical is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to oversee fit-out projects across restaurants, offices, cafés and commercial spaces. You will ensure quality, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and keep projects on schedule and within company standards.

You will manage day-to-day site activities, monitor progress, and conduct quality inspections. The role requires ownership, strong planning skills, and adherence to formal company procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in execution and management of fit-out projects.
• Practical experience in restaurants, offices, cafés, malls, and commercial spaces.
• Preferably experience working on projects in reputed malls or with established organizations.
• Strong understanding of execution, quality control, project planning, coordination, and timely delivery.
• Ability to take ownership and work according to formal company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site execution of fit-out works, ensuring work is completed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, MEP teams, and other stakeholders to resolve site issues and maintain project progress.
• Monitor project schedules, workmanship, materials, and resources to ensure timely and efficient completion of assigned works.
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with approved designs, safety requirements, and company procedures.
• Prepare and maintain site progress reports, track deviations, and take ownership of resolving execution-related issues.
