Location: Johar Town, Lahore, Pakistan
Work Model: Hybrid
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: 5–8+ Years
Reporting To: Management / Digital Business Lead
Company: Germany-Based B2B E-Commerce Company
About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced and commercially minded Senior SEO Specialist to take ownership of the company's organic growth strategy.
The company is a Germany-based B2B e-commerce business specializing in professional IT infrastructure, networking, server, storage, and related technology products, serving customers across Germany and the wider European market.
The SEO function is a critical growth channel for the business because customers frequently search for highly specific products, manufacturers, models, part numbers, technical specifications, compatibility, alternatives, and enterprise IT solutions.
The successful candidate will therefore be responsible for developing an SEO strategy that improves the visibility of products, categories, manufacturers, and the overall website, while translating organic search growth into measurable commercial results.
This is a senior, ownership-oriented role. We are looking for someone who can independently assess the current SEO position, identify opportunities, define priorities, build a roadmap, execute initiatives, and demonstrate measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
1. Own the Overall SEO Strategy
- Take end-to-end ownership of the company's organic search strategy.
- Develop a clear SEO roadmap aligned with commercial and e-commerce objectives.
- Define SEO priorities based on business potential, search demand, competition, and expected ROI.
- Establish short-, medium-, and long-term organic growth objectives.
- Identify the highest-value opportunities across products, categories, manufacturers, content, and technical SEO.
- Continuously evaluate and refine the SEO strategy based on performance and market changes.
- Stay ahead of Google algorithm updates, search trends, SERP developments, and changes in user behavior.
2. Build an E-Commerce SEO Growth Engine
Develop a scalable SEO strategy for a large and continuously evolving product catalog.
You will be responsible for determining:
- Which product categories should be prioritized.
- Which products have significant organic search potential.
- Which manufacturer/product combinations should be targeted.
- How product architecture should support organic growth.
- How category and product pages should be structured.
- How internal linking should distribute authority across the site.
- How to capture long-tail and highly specific commercial searches.
- How to maximize organic visibility throughout the product discovery journey.
The objective is to build a scalable SEO framework rather than optimize pages individually without a broader strategy.
3. Technical SEO Leadership
Own the technical SEO direction of the website and work closely with developers and technical stakeholders.
You will be expected to identify and prioritize issues involving:
- Crawlability
- Indexation
- Site architecture
- Faceted navigation
- URL structures
- Canonicalization
- Duplicate content
- Pagination
- Internal linking
- XML sitemaps
- Robots.txt
- Redirects
- JavaScript rendering
- Core Web Vitals
- Page speed
- Structured data
- Product schema
- Breadcrumbs
- Mobile SEO
You should be capable of diagnosing complex technical SEO problems, defining the required solution, prioritizing development work, and validating implementation.
You do not need to be a developer, but you should be technically strong enough to work confidently with developers.

Help shape the website's information architecture from an SEO perspective.
This includes:
- Product taxonomy.
- Category hierarchy.
- Manufacturer structures.
- Product-family structures.
- Internal linking architecture.
- Landing-page strategy.
- SEO-friendly URL structures.
- Indexation strategy.
- Relationships between products, categories, manufacturers, accessories, alternatives, and related products.

Responsibilities include:

- Relevant business directories.
- Technology communities.
- Digital PR.

Work closely with:

Translate SEO requirements into clear priorities for non-SEO stakeholders.
You will be expected to lead SEO initiatives, not simply submit recommendations and wait for others to determine what needs to happen.
