Job summary

NorthBay Solutions is looking for a Senior Security Engineer (L2/L3) to join their Network & Security Operations team in Karachi, Pakistan. The role involves managing enterprise security technologies such as firewalls and endpoint security, supporting 24x7 Security Operations.

The ideal candidate will have 4-10 years of IT Security Operations experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and be adept at incident response. This position offers exposure to leading security technologies and an opportunity to work with a skilled team.

Qualifications

• 4-10 years of experience in IT Security Operations.
• Experience supporting enterprise environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident response capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot Check Point, Palo Alto, and Fortinet firewalls.
• Implement and review firewall policies, ACLs, NAT, and security rules.
• Administer WAF, IPS, VPN, MFA, and proxy security solutions.
• Support endpoint security platforms including EDR, DLP, and antivirus solutions.
• Investigate security incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Review security logs, alerts, and operational events.
• Support audit, compliance, and security governance requirements.
• Execute security hardening and vulnerability remediation activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and operational reports.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) activities and readiness exercises.
