Job summary

NorthBay Solutions LLC is seeking a Senior Security Engineer (L2/L3) to join their team in Lahore, Pakistan. This role involves managing a large-scale 24x7 Security Operations environment, requiring strong hands-on experience with various security technologies including firewalls, web security, and endpoint protection.

The ideal candidate should have 4–10 years of IT Security Operations experience, with excellent troubleshooting skills. Applicants will engage with leading security technologies and contribute to a long-term project with exposure to highly skilled teams.

Qualifications

• 4–10 years of experience in IT Security Operations.
• Experience supporting enterprise environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident response capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot Check Point, Palo Alto, and Fortinet firewalls.
• Implement and review firewall policies, ACLs, NAT, and security rules.
• Administer WAF, IPS, VPN, MFA, and proxy security solutions.
• Support endpoint security platforms including EDR, DLP, and antivirus solutions.
• Investigate security incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Review security logs, alerts, and operational events.
• Support audit, compliance, and security governance requirements.
• Execute security hardening and vulnerability remediation activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and operational reports.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) activities and readiness exercises.
