Job summary

Keka, a modern people platform, seeks a Senior SDET to embed quality across the product lifecycle. You will collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to identify risks, build scalable automation, and ensure reliable software with confidence.

You will contribute to API, UI automation, and backend testing while mentoring juniors and promoting strong quality practices. Strong automation background and curiosity are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of QA/SDET experience with automation.
• Proficient in Python, Java, and/or JavaScript.
• Experience with Cypress or Playwright and API testing.
• Knowledge of SQL and backend testing.
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, designs, and architecture to identify risks and provide early quality feedback.
• Design and implement robust, scalable UI and API automation frameworks.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated tests across functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end scenarios.
• Work closely with developers and product teams to embed testing early in development.
• Perform API, backend, and database validation to ensure reliable systems.
• Identify, investigate, document, track, and validate defects through resolution.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for faster feedback.
• Define and track quality metrics like test coverage and defect leakage.
