Job summary

Edge is launching its Finance vertical and seeks an Accountant Analyst to own accounting cycles and financial reporting for assigned entities, ensuring compliance while partnering with internal and external stakeholders. This role offers full-time remote work and exposure to North American clients.

You will handle month-end close, IFRS/US GAAP, variance analysis, and audits, mentoring junior staff across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a reputable university.
• Knowledge of US GAAP.
• ACCA or CA finalist.
• 2–4 years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting.
• Experience preparing month-end financial reports.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with global teams.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements under IFRS and/or US GAAP.
• Perform detailed variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights.
• Review complex journal entries and accounting estimates.
• Maintain balance sheet integrity through accurate reconciliations.
• Coordinate audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
• Review the work of junior accountants and provide guidance and mentorship.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
