Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Good clinical knowledge of emergency medicine. The candidate should possess good communication and soft skills. Additional benefits are provided to those with valid certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS.
Tasks & Accountabilities
- Lead a quality team of medical and nursing staff.
- Ensure quality care service delivery in A&E.
- Supervise and direct medical officers/senior medical officers on clinical issues regarding patient care.
- Make decisions in crises and resolve issues promptly.
- Communicate with the A&E regarding management-related issues, especially during night shifts.
- Report important and urgent clinical issues to the A&E clinical head.
- Liaise with medical and non-medical staff within the department and other stakeholders.
- Implement administrative and clinical policies and SOPs.
- Provide medical support to team members for quick patient management.
- Document patient medical information accurately on HIMS.
- Ensure proper handover of patients at the end of each shift.
- Maintain a professional and polite doctor-patient approach at all times.
- Adhere to the dress code as per human resources policies.
