Job summary

Aliff Solutions seeks a property lawyer to lead legal work for an international institutional client in Islamabad. You will document clear title, advise on leases and renewals, and manage transactions through to registration.

Requirements include LLB/LLM with 5–7 years post-qualification in property law, Pakistani bar enrolment, and residency in Islamabad/Rawalpindi or willingness to relocate. Strong English writing and report skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Enrolled advocate with a Pakistani bar council; High Court enrolment preferred.
• Completed LLB/LLM, with post-qualification experience in a reputable law firm.
• 5 to 7 years' post-qualification, hands-on property law and conveyancing experience.
• Working knowledge of Islamabad land records, registration practice and CDA procedures.
• Professional written and spoken English for formal opinions and reports.
• Resident in Islamabad or Rawalpindi, or able to relocate to Islamabad.
• Two professional references and willingness to undergo background verification.

Responsibilities

• Carry out title searches and verify chain of ownership from land registry and related offices.
• Prepare clear, well-reasoned written title opinions and reports in English.
• Draft and review sale, lease, transfer and related property documents.
• Advise on ground leases, renewals and replacing missing or defective title documents.
• Obtain no-objection certificates and approvals from authorities through closing and registration.
• Keep accurate files, deadlines and progress reports, and handle every matter in confidence.
