Job summary

Interwood in Pakistan is seeking a Production and Inventory Planning lead to align demand forecasts with production requirements and material availability in Lahore. You will develop plans, monitor stock, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely replenishment and optimal inventory levels.

The role focuses on reducing shortages, coordinating MRP activities, managing stock transfers, and preparing planning reports in SAP/ERP.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning and inventory management.
• Strong coordination with cross-functional teams (Production, PPC, Sales, Commercial).
• Experience with MRP and SAP/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute production plans based on demand forecasts and inventory requirements.
• Coordinate with Production, PPC, Sales, and Commercial teams to ensure effective production and stock planning.
• Monitor material availability and coordinate Material Requirement Planning (MRP) to prevent production delays.
• Manage inventory coverage and maintain optimal stock levels across assigned SKUs.
• Plan stock replenishment for locally manufactured and imported products to ensure product availability.
• Coordinate stock transfers between warehouses and showrooms based on business requirements.
• Monitor production plan execution, identify deviations, and implement timely corrective measures.
• Coordinate with R&D and Category teams to support new product development (NPD) and product launch readiness.
• Analyze demand trends, production capacity, and stock requirements to improve planning efficiency.
• Prepare inventory and production planning reports while ensuring accurate data management through SAP/ERP systems
