Job summary

Mashreq Careers seeks an experienced product leader to drive strategy and development of deposit products, optimise portfolio profitability and deliver best-in-class customer experiences. You will own CVP design for multiple segments, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate across marketing, analytics and IT to launch innovative offerings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field.
MBA or postgraduate degree preferred.
8+ years of product, portfolio and lifecycle management experience.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills with external partners.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities with data-driven decisions.
Deep knowledge of digital banking trends and customer behaviour.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the strategy for deposit products and propositions aligned with bank strategy.
Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings to drive product innovation.
Develop new deposit products or enhance existing ones to improve customer value and profitability.
Monitor and manage product-level profitability, margins and fee income.
Prepare financial forecasts and performance analyses to optimise pricing and interest rate structures.
Ensure deposit products meet customer needs and deliver a seamless experience.
Collaborate with marketing and customer service teams to promote products and gather feedback.
Address customer complaints and measure satisfaction.
Design and refine CVPs for different segments through product bundling.
Benchmark against competitors to differentiate offerings.
Align product features, pricing and service with CVP; communicate CVP with marketing and sales.
Cross Squad collaboration to deliver CVP for segments.
Ensure regulatory compliance and manage operational, financial, and model risks.
Conduct ongoing market research to benchmark against competitors and adjust features/pricing.
Launch CVPs for Retailers, Freelancers, Schools, Software houses, Agri, Women entrepreneurs.
Drive customer growth through lifecycle engagement and loyalty programs.
Develop lifecycle strategies and trigger timely interventions, upsell and win-back campaigns.
Collaborate with analytics to develop propensity models and track cross-sell performance.
Roll out rules for personalised lifecycle communications using data-driven insights.
Work with IT, operations, compliance, legal, and marketing to launch and maintain products.
