Job summary
Abacus is seeking a Senior Data Visualisation Engineer in Lahore to design and deliver high-impact BI solutions using Power BI. The role requires strong data analysis, modelling, and stakeholder engagement to turn complex data into clear insights for executive decision-making.
The candidate will lead BI initiatives, develop semantic models with DAX, optimise performance, and mentor junior developers while ensuring governance and quality across dashboards and published datasets.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in BI, data analytics, reporting, or data visualization.
- Proven experience delivering executive dashboards and self-service analytics for business stakeholders.
- Experience leading BI initiatives, gathering requirements, and guiding dashboard adoption.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Develop semantic models, measures, and datasets using DAX and Power Query.
- Connect to and transform data from SQL databases, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, and data warehouses.
- Ensure governance, data quality, security, and lifecycle management of dashboards.
