CodeNinja is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to spearhead a high-impact data and analytics initiative for a prominent aviation client. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end dashboard development, data integration, and advanced analytics, ensuring real-time insights into flight operations, financials, and HR metrics. You will collaborate closely with internal business stakeholders, technology teams, and compliance officers to design and maintain secure, scalable reporting solutions that drive data-driven decisions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Integration & Modeling
  • Design, build, and optimize data ingestion pipelines to consolidate data from multiple sources (Excel, SharePoint, SQL databases, APIs).
  • Develop efficient data models (star/snowflake schemas) to support real-time and batch reporting needs.
  • Implement data transformation and cleansing processes to ensure high-quality, accurate data.
• Power BI Dashboard Development
  • Create intuitive, user-centric dashboards and reports showcasing operational KPIs, financial metrics, and HR-related insights.
  • Utilize advanced DAX and Power Query (M) for complex calculations and data manipulation.
  • Configure row-level security (RLS) and role-based access to protect sensitive or confidential data.
• Performance Optimization & Scalability
  • Optimize Power BI datasets, gateways, and refresh schedules for high performance and minimal latency.
  • Assess and fine-tune existing BI infrastructure, ensuring dashboards scale efficiently as data volumes grow.
• Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Conduct workshops with Operations, Finance, and HR teams to gather requirements and validate functional needs.
  • Work closely with compliance and security teams to maintain adherence to local and international data protection regulations.
  • Provide clear documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to end-users and internal support teams.
• Testing & Quality Assurance
  • Execute integration tests, functional tests, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure data integrity and alignment with business requirements.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot potential data discrepancies, ensuring quick resolution and minimal disruption to reporting.
• Continuous Improvement & Support
