Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting.
• Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of different baking techniques, ingredients, flavors, and trends.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail with an eye for presentation.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high quality standards.

Responsabilités

• Develop creative and innovative pastry menus that cater to various dietary preferences and restrictions.
• Train, supervise, and mentor junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff.
• Oversee the production of high-quality pastries, cakes, breads, and other baked goods in a timely manner.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked pantry.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen at all times.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with other chefs to create cohesive menus for special events and promotions.
