Key Responsibilities

• Design and prepare a variety of desserts including cakes, pastries, tarts, and other sweet treats


• Create new and unique dessert options to add to our menu based on seasonal availability and current food trends


• Work closely with the Executive Chef to develop dessert menus that complement the main dishes


• Ensure all desserts are prepared and presented according to restaurant standards


• Oversee the ordering and inventory of all pastry ingredients and supplies


• Train and supervise junior pastry chefs, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation of desserts


• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while working in the kitchen

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel


• Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, including decorating skills and various baking methods


• Creative mindset with a passion for experimenting with flavors and textures


• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment


• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
