Job description

Senior Officer Payments & Collection Business - Digital Banking Group

Responsibilities:

  • Manage payment processing activities, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with established procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of payment transactions, collections, and related activities, and prepare reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as finance, customer service, and legal teams, to resolve payment-related issues and disputes.
  • Explore and induce payment and general banking avenues.
  • Manage online payment platforms.
  • Maintain requirements according to the rules and regulations provided by the regulator.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, such as payment processors, collection agencies, and financial institutions.
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by management.

Required Skill Set:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy along with critical thinking and multi-tasking skills.
  • Proven experience in payment processing, collections, or a related area, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of updated regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry trends related to payments.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelor's or equivalent professional qualification from a reputed institution.

Experience:

Minimum three (03) years of experience in payment processing, collections, or a related field, preferably in the financial services industry.
