Purpose

To support QA operations through inspection data management, KPI reporting, vendor coordination for material testing, sample record maintenance, and assistance during material inspections and FAT activities to ensure efficient quality assurance processes.

Area of Responsibilities

1. Digitization of Documents:

• Scanning and maintaining hard copies of all KE-PO/Self-Finance Delivery Challans and FAT Test Reports.
• Monitoring Cloud Storage and following up with QA Engineers regarding FAT digital records, including inspection photos, videos, and documents.

1. Calibration Management: Coordinating the calibration of laboratory equipment and inspection-related tools through third-party service providers.
2. External Laboratory Testing Administration: Managing laboratory charges, Coordination with Lab testing engineer for LAB reports, and sharing report with customers for materials received other than KE material in the QA Laboratory for Lab testing.
3. Safety

To ensure that all inspection and routine processes are carried out as per KE HSEQ guidelines and standard SOPs.

1. Material Inspection Support

• Data posting, extraction, analysis and reporting in SAP QM module for inspections and testing done by QA ENGINEERS.
• Reporting of KPIs data.
• Coordination with vendors for testing samples.
• Tracking and recording of approved samples for inspections.
• Support QA engineers during inspection and FAT of material when required.

1. Coordination with Vendors

• Coordinating with vendors for third-party pay orders related to external Lab testing charges and QA laboratory testing charges. Maintaining inspection charges internal records and onward posting in QA SAP profit center via BF.
• Coordination with vendors for lifting warranty claims of Transmission and distribution material.
• Coordination with vendors for repair /replacement of warranty claims of Transmission and distribution material.
• Issuance of letters for material rejection, acceptance, third party testing etc.

1. Active Participation in Audits: Participating in ISO 17020 and ISO 17025 accreditation and surveillance audits.
2. IT Coordination: Coordinating with the IT Department to resolve department-related IT issues/query.
