Job summary

Smart Working is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer with 8+ years of hands-on software development experience to support a live, feature-complete Studio product in production. The role is ~70% backend and 30% frontend, primarily using Node.js, NestJS, Angular, Docker, and Docker Compose, deployed on Google Cloud Run with Artifact Registry.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional backend experience with Node.js/NestJS.
• 3+ years of Angular
• 1.5+ years of React
• 4+ years designing and developing REST APIs.
• 3+ years with Docker and containerised apps.
• 2+ years DevOps for live production environments (CI/CD, deployments, monitoring).
• 2+ years managing production workloads on GCP.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance a live production platform.
• Develop backend services using Node.js/NestJS.
• Contribute to Angular frontend when needed.
• Build and improve REST APIs; document with Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Support production systems on GCP ensuring reliability and availability.
• Manage deployments via CI/CD pipelines and established processes.
• Troubleshoot incidents and implement resolutions.
• Work with Docker-based containerised apps and cloud services.
• Adhere to development, staging, and production release processes.
• Collaborate via code reviews and engineering standards.
• Design, document, and deliver technical solutions.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools in workflows.
