Job summary

Mindbridge in Pakistan is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to provide deep technical expertise for network troubleshooting, optimization and implementation.

You will perform advanced troubleshooting for routing, switching, and firewall issues, implement changes, support new infrastructure deployments, and conduct root cause analysis. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience and a relevant degree; certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering/IT/CS.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Certifications would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting for routing, switching and firewall issues.
• Implement network changes through approved change procedures.
• Support new infrastructure deployments.
• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring incidents.
• Maintain configuration and documentation standards.
• Assist with network security investigations.
• Support monitoring improvements with the NOC team.
• Escalation and follow up with vendors and service providers.

The Job

Senior Network Security Engineer:

Role Summary: Provides deep technical expertise for network troubleshooting, optimization and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting for routing, switching and firewall issues
• Implement network changes through approved change procedures
• Support new infrastructure deployments
• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring incidents
• Maintain configuration and documentation standards
• Assist with network security investigations
• Support monitoring improvements with the NOC team
• Escalation and follow up with vedors and service providers

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong technical troubleshooting mindset
• Deep knowledge of routing and switching protocols
• Experience with firewall technologies
• Packet analysis and traffic troubleshooting ability
• Good scripting or automation exposure is a plus
• Ability to document and explain complex issues clearly
• Strong hands‑on configuration experience

Education & Qualification:

• Bachelors or Higher Degree in relevant Area (Engineering/IT/CS)
• Industry renowned certifications would be a plus

Experience:

• At least 5 Years of experience in similar environments and roles
