Contour Software Lahore/Islamabad is seeking a Back Engineer to develop and maintain the web portal using .NET/C# and the .NET framework, with an eye toward new features and reliability. You will translate designs, write tests, and optimize performance across browsers and devices. The role requires 4+ years in .NET/C#, 4+ years in SQL Server, and 2+ years AWS experience.

Prior SaaS experience is a plus. You’ll join Contour's Global Centre and contribute to a cloud-based solution for CSI

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in .NET/C# development.
• 4+ years of SQL Server development.
• 2+ years AWS experience.
• Understanding and use of DevOps as part of the development process.
• Experience working for a SaaS based company developing a cloud-based solution is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Developing new features using .NET and enhancing existing using .NET framework.
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code.
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across web browsers and devices.
• Write clean, scalable, and secure code.
• Author unit tests, ensuring acceptable code coverage.
• Revise, update, and refactor existing code.
• Work with QA team and other engineers in debugging issues.
• Participate in requirements analysis.
• Develop software documentation for developed source code.
• Aid in technical support of production systems.
• Triaging production AWS based windows instances when needed.
