Job summary

INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a Lead Metering Control System Engineer to join the Wellhead and Skids Solutions team. You will lead engineering, configuration, and validation of Flow Computers and metering systems across custody transfer and fiscal metering scopes.

You will apply API MPMS, AGA, ISO, and OIML standards while coordinating with PLC/SCADA interfaces and leading FAT/SAT activities. This role targets an experienced engineer with 8–10 years in automation and control systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field.
8–10 years of experience in industrial automation, control systems, or related roles.
Hands-on experience with MCS, FCS, PLC systems and SCADA.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering, configuration, and setup of Flow Computers, including meter runs and report configuration.
Apply industry flow measurement standards (API MPMS, AGA, ISO, OIML) in design and auditing of metering systems.
Translate customer and project requirements into URS, FDS, control narratives, sequences of operations, and FAT/SAT test procedures.
Lead FAT, IFAT, SAT, commissioning and start-up activities to ensure compliance with project specs.
Configure and validate meter proving systems, including proving sequences and repeatability checks.
Coordinate system integration with PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and third-party systems to ensure reliable data exchange.
Participate in design reviews, technical audits, and training to support project goals.
Ensure system performance and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
