Job summary

INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a Lead Metering Control System Engineer to join our Wellhead and Skids Solutions team in Pakistan. The role focuses on custody transfer metering, flow computer configuration, and integration with PLC/SCADA systems to ensure safe and efficient operations in Oil & Gas and Utilities sectors.

You will lead engineering, FAT/SAT activities, and deliver engineering narratives, URS/FDS, and test procedures while coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics engineering.
• 8–10 years in industrial automation, control systems, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with MCS, FCS, PLC systems, and SCADA.
• Strong practical knowledge of custody transfer and fiscal metering principles.
• Proven hands-on experience in engineering, configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Flow Computers.
• Experience with OMNI, Emerson/Daniel, ABB/SpiritIT Flow-X, Honeywell, or equivalent systems.
• Ability to configure meter runs, communication maps, security/access levels, diagnostics, backups/restores, reports, alarms, events, and time synchronization.
• Proven experience leading FAT, IFAT, SAT, commissioning, start-up, and handover activities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure custody transfer and fiscal metering standards.
• Lead the engineering and configuration of Flow Computers.
• Apply metrology standards (API MPMS, AGA, ISO, OIML) in metering systems.
• Configure and validate meter proving systems and reports.
• Lead FAT, IFAT, SAT, commissioning and start-up activities.
• Support system integration with PLCs, SCADA, DCS.
• Participate in design reviews and documentation.
• Ensure system performance and compliance through lifecycle.
