Role Description

The Senior Medical Billing Specialist is a full-time, on-site position based in Karachi, responsible for overseeing end-to-end medical billing and reimbursement activities for U.S.-based healthcare practices. The role includes reviewing and submitting claims, managing denials and appeals, and ensuring accurate coding with ICD-10 and payer-specific guidelines. The specialist will verify insurance coverage, coordinate with payers such as Medicare and commercial insurers, and monitor accounts receivable for timely payment posting and follow-up. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve analyzing billing trends, identifying revenue opportunities, training junior billing staff, and collaborating with internal teams to uphold compliance, documentation accuracy, and service quality.
