Qualifications

Al Ghurair is hiring a Senior Manager – Financial Reporting to join our Corporate Finance team in Karachi, reporting to the EVP – Financial Planning, Analytics & Control.

About the Role

In this role, you'll drive financial planning, analysis, and performance reviews for the Group and Business Units, delivering the reliable financial insights and analysis that support the EVP FPA&C. You'll own management reporting of financial results while maintaining and enhancing our financial planning and reporting systems, and lead special projects for Finance as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct business performance analysis, risk assessment, and scenario/sensitivity analysis across Business Units at Corporate level
• Monitor and report historical financial trends and KPIs, identifying future trends and recommendations
• Perform financial performance benchmarking (internal and external) and generate business insights
• Partner closely with Corporate Functions and Business Unit Finance on strategy setting, planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Drive continuous improvement of the financial planning and analysis process
• Plan, manage, and lead the financial reporting cycle (management reporting, planning & budgeting, forecasts) in coordination with BU Finance, Group Strategy, and Group HR
• Prepare and finalize periodic management reports: results analysis, budgets, forecasts, executive summaries, commentaries, KPIs, balance sheet & P&L, and graphical presentations
• Maintain a strong control environment to ensure accuracy, reliability, consistency, and transparency of data
• Coordinate closely with BU Finance and relevant Corporate Functions on process efficiency and effectiveness
• Prepare and finalize reports and presentations (regular and ad-hoc) for GCFO, GCEO, and the Board/Committees
• Maintain consistency of reporting practices across the Group through appropriate BU guidelines

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized university; Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA/ACCA)
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Financial Planning, Analysis, and Management Reporting
• Minimum 1 year of experience at a managerial level, coaching and mentoring team members
• Working experience with Hyperion Financial Management and Power BI
