Job summary

ACCA Careers seeks a seasoned Accounts Payable leader in Karachi to manage end-to-end AP across multiple entities. You will oversee invoicing, vendor payments, GR/IR, and month-end closing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

You will coach the AP team, drive process improvements, automation, and KPIs, collaborate with Treasury for cash forecasting, and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

Qualifications

• ACCA, ACMA or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• 8–10 years of relevant finance experience.
• Experience in Accounts Payable, Shared Services or Finance Operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) operations across multiple business units and legal entities.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, credit notes, supplier advances, payment proposals and vendor payments.
• Oversee vendor account reconciliations and drive timely resolution of outstanding issues.
• Monitor AP aging and ensure adherence to agreed payment terms while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Manage and reconcile GR/IR accounts, ensuring prompt clearing of open items and resolution of aged balances in coordination with Procurement, Supply Chain and Business Units.
• Coordinate monthly intercompany reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of differences.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring completeness and accuracy of AP-related balances.
• Partner with Treasury to support cash forecasting, liquidity planning and payment scheduling.
• Drive AP transformation initiatives, process standardization, automation and digitization to improve efficiency and control.
• Develop and monitor KPIs, dashboards and performance metrics to track operational effectiveness and service delivery.
