Job summary

ACCA Careers seeks a Senior Manager – Accounts & Finance to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting and controls across a multi-location U.S. business. You will lead the accounting/finance team, ensure accurate reporting, and coordinate with Treasury, Operations and external stakeholders.

The role requires 8–12+ years in accounting/finance, strong US GAAP knowledge, and experience with multi-location operations. Night shifts aligned with U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; CA/ACCA/CMA/MBA preferred.
• 8–12+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Experience with U.S.-based businesses and multi-location operations is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end close, budgeting and internal controls.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and ERP/accounting-system skills.
• Analytical, leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing teams and multiple financial processes simultaneously.
• Available for night shifts aligned with U.S. business hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting and finance operations across multiple locations.

• Manage month-end and year-end close and financial reporting.
• Review store sales, cash deposits, credit-card settlements, fuel sales, and reconciliations.
• Monitor expenses and investigate variances.
• Prepare P&L, balance sheet, cash-flow and management reports.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
• Coordinate with Treasury, AP, Operations, and external stakeholders.
• Support audit, tax, compliance, and year-end requirements.
• Identify improvements to processes, controls and reporting accuracy.
• Lead and develop the accounting/finance team and ensure timely deliverables.

• Lead day-to-day accounting and finance operations across multiple locations.
• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Review store sales, cash deposits, credit-card settlements, fuel sales, and related reconciliations.
• Monitor property, utility, rent, vendor, and operating expenses and investigate variances.
• Prepare P&L, balance sheet, cash-flow reports, management reports, and financial analysis.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and financial procedures.
• Coordinate with Treasury, AP, Operations, Property Management, and external stakeholders.
