Senior Laravel Backend Developer

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced and thoughtful Senior Laravel Backend Developer to join our team. You’ll play a key role in designing and developing robust, scalable backend systems that power web applications used by real people every day. This role is ideal for someone who’s comfortable owning backend architecture, writing clean and maintainable code, and collaborating with both frontend developers and product teams to deliver high-quality features.

• Architecting, developing, and maintaining backend features using Laravel and related technologies
• Building and maintaining RESTful APIs for frontend consumption (React/Next.js teams)
• Writing clean, secure, and well-documented code following industry best practices
• Designing database schemas, writing optimized queries, and managing migrations (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
• Implementing authentication, authorization, and other core backend services
• Debugging complex issues and providing long-term solutions that improve stability and performance
• Collaborating closely with frontend developers, product managers, and designers to align on technical needs
• Participating in code reviews and mentoring junior developers
• Staying up to date with Laravel ecosystem updates and suggesting improvements to our tech stack

• 5+ years of experience as a backend developer, with a strong focus on Laravel
• Deep understanding of PHP and the Laravel framework (including queues, events, jobs, middleware, etc.)
• Solid experience with RESTful APIs and third-party API integrations
• Strong knowledge of relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Comfortable with Git and version control workflows
• Experience working in agile or fast-paced development environments
• Familiarity with deployment workflows and server environments (e.g., Forge, Envoyer, Docker, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
• Clear and professional communication skills
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and automated testing

• Experience with Laravel Livewire, Nova, or Filament
• Knowledge of GraphQL and API-first architecture
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks like Vue.js or React
• Experience working with AWS, DigitalOcean, or similar cloud platforms

Office Details:

Location: Snow Dream Studios GmbH –D Ground, Faisalabad

Working Hours: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Days: Monday - Friday
