Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Laboratory Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in procurement or Clinical Laboratory Operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of direct materials with focus on laboratory equipment, reagents and consumables.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, pricing, delivery timelines and reliability.
• Obtain and analyze quotations and prepare comparative statements for procurement decisions.
• Negotiate prices, terms and delivery schedules with suppliers to achieve cost-effective procurement.
• Coordinate with laboratory and relevant departments to understand requirements and ensure timely availability of supplies.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases and relevant documentation.
• Monitor purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Support supplier evaluation and performance monitoring.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with organizational policies and procedures.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
