Job summary

Indus Hospital & Health Network is seeking a Deputy Manager – Procurement to lead procurement activities for direct material supplies. The role emphasizes strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiations, and continuous process improvement to ensure cost-effective and timely availability.

You will coordinate with hospital committees and internal stakeholders, review quotations, and drive transparent, compliant procurement practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Supply Chain; MBA preferred.
• 6–8 years of relevant procurement/supply chain experience.
• Strong supplier management, negotiation, sourcing, and procurement skills.
• Ability to manage procurement processes in a structured and compliant environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for direct material supplies to ensure timely and cost-effective availability.
• Manage supplier sourcing, selection, evaluation, performance monitoring, and relationship management.
• Negotiate contracts, rates, discounts, and commercial terms while maintaining required quality and delivery standards.
• Coordinate with hospital committees and internal stakeholders for effective procurement of direct materials.
• Review and evaluate quotations based on price, quality, delivery timelines, supplier performance, and discounts.
• Identify and develop alternate sources for critical and single‑source direct material items to ensure uninterrupted supply.
• Ensure procurement activities remain transparent, compliant, auditable, and aligned with IHHN policies and procedures.
• Lead and monitor the procurement team, evaluate performance, and implement process improvements.
