Job summary

Infosys is seeking an experienced Backend Engineer in Hyderabad with 8–10 years of Java/Spring Boot experience. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, integrate AWS components, and deliver secure RESTful APIs.

You’ll drive CI/CD readiness, troubleshoot issues, and mentor junior engineers to uphold engineering standards. The role emphasizes production-grade coding practices, distributed systems, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable features

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
8–10 years of backend development with Java/Spring Boot.
Proven experience with AWS development, deployment, and support.
Strong understanding of REST APIs and production-grade coding practices.
Experience debugging, performance tuning, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Build and integrate AWS-based components for scalability and reliability.
Develop RESTful APIs and backend integrations with focus on performance.
Implement secure, production-grade solutions including authentication and secrets handling.
Support CI/CD pipelines and AWS deployment processes.
Troubleshoot production issues with root-cause analysis and fixes.
Write unit and integration tests and encourage code quality through reviews.
Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and plan work.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards.
