Job description

Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for IT goods and services. Develop and execute sourcing strategies for key categories like software, hardware, infrastructure, and cloud.
• Vendor Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key IT vendors. Manage vendor relationships, conduct quarterly business reviews, and monitor performance against SLAs.
• Contract Negotiation: Lead the negotiation of complex IT contracts, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Software as a Service (SaaS) agreements, licensing terms, and statements of work (SOWs). Focus on securing favorable pricing, terms, and conditions.
• Procurement Process Management: Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle from requisition to purchase order (PO) issuance, delivery, and payment. Ensure compliance with internal policies and controls.
• Cost Savings & Budget Management: Actively identify and implement cost-saving opportunities. Work with finance and IT leadership to manage budgets, track spending, and report on savings achievements.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with IT, Security, Legal, and Finance departments to understand technical requirements, ensure security and compliance standards are met, and align procurement activities with business needs.
• Market Analysis: Stay current with market trends, emerging technologies, and new suppliers to inform sourcing decisions and provide strategic insights to the organization.
• Risk Mitigation: Assess and mitigate risks associated with vendors, including financial stability, data security, and business continuity.
