Job summary

Careem is seeking a hands-on Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our global network, data-center, voice, and identity management infrastructure. You will drive virtualization, security, and AI-driven automation while collaborating with business and tech teams.

The role requires expertise across Cisco Meraki, VMware, Peplink, MDM, Zscaler, and Google Workspace, with a strong emphasis on automation, SSO, and API integrations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki networks and MSP-style operations.
• Strong virtualization skills with VMware vSphere/vCenter and ESXi.
• Experience deploying Peplink SD-WAN and network failover solutions.
• Proven ability to manage security, identity, and access (MDM, Google Workspace, Zscaler).
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and end-to-end IT operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain office and data-center network, server, and voice infrastructure.
• Administer VMware clusters, backups, DR testing, and capacity planning.
• Configure SIP/PRI gateways and optimize contact center infrastructure.
• Manage endpoint provisioning, SSO, and cross-system integrations.
• Lead automation initiatives and AI-driven improvement across IT services.
